Visiting Aged Care Facilities

Volunteers to go for walks with residents, some of which may be in a wheelchair.

Desired traits are empathy and respect for the elderly, good communication and reliability.

Volunteers are to visit once per week or fortnightly.


Volunteer bus driver needed for weekly or fortnightly trips normally taking place on Monday and Friday.

Requirements are a Light Rigid license (LR), with a safe & reliable driving record, good interpersonal & communication skills, being physically fit and able to help older people on & off the bus.

Will be for 2-3 hours, between 10.30am to 3pm.


Volunteer who loves to bake/cook needed.
Will be helping 1 or 2 residents follow a recipe and bake birthday cakes.

Some frosting etc may be required from time to time.

Time required is weekly, for 1.5 – 2 hrs.

Administration Support (Various Positions)

Work may involve using Word/Excel/Access, photocopying, filing, data entry, collecting/sorting mail and general administration duties & front counter duties, on various days. The work will need to be treated with confidentiality and a Police Check will be required. Experience in grant writing an advantage.


1-4 volunteers needed for handyman/carpenter postion,

Times are Tues/Thurs/Fri 12pm-3pm & Wed 9am-12pm,

Volunteer required for Treasurer position. Will be responsible for paying of wages and the BAS and the End Financial Year acquittals, working with computer program Reckon and ideally suiting those with CPA experience. Will have support from current Treasurer.

Emergency Relief Support Interviewer

Volunteers need to have excellent people skills, an ability to relate well & build rapport with clients, have a warm, friendly, empathetic & non-judgmental approach, be reliable & consistent and a knowledge of other service providers in the Albury Wodonga area. Training provided to suitable applicants one on one basis.

Volunteer Drivers

Volunteers required for transport service.

Best for someone that enjoys driving, helping others and being in great company.

May involve Melbourne day runs.

Training + support are provided.

This position is for a couple of hours a week.
