Cultural Exchange
Cultural Exchange Program
The Cultural Exchange (CE) program hosts a broad range of activities and information sharing. It initiates, supports and manages activities and events that have mutual benefit for new community members from Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) backgrounds, their cultural groups and the wider Albury Wodonga community.
The project is supported by a network of community volunteers and program activities are based at Albury, Lavington and Wodonga libraries and Community Centres.
Programs that run under CE are:

Tertiary Tips – provides one on one support to CALD students studying at TAFE or university.
Conversations in English – provides CALD participants the opportunity to practice their English one on one with a volunteer.
Homework Help – provides mentors to support CALD students with reading, writing and homework tasks assigned by their teachers at local libraries.
